General Services Administration: Vistara serves as the Owners Construction Representative (OCR) and as the Construction Quality Manager (CQM) through an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) contract. We have established a quality relationship since 1997 when we worked on the construction of the Hammond Federal Courthouse. Vistara received a Construction Excellence Award in 2005 in recognition of its work on the US Customs House renovation. Current projects include the renovation of the Federal Center Plaza and the interior renovations to the EM Dirksen Federal Courthouse in Chicago.
Chicago Public Schools: Vistara has performed Project Management Services for the Public Building Commission and Chicago Public Schools since 1994. We have served as the Owner’s Representative during the construction of new schools at Albany Park, McNair and Field Elementary schools which included on-site representation from pre-construction through close-out.
We have also completed the renovation and construction of the new addition at Namaste Charter School as an Owner’s Representative. Further, Vistara has estimated construction costs in excess of $500 million for a variety of projects– Sauganash Elementary, Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep, Little Village Library and Brighton Park Elementary School.
Capital Improvement Program (CIP) O’Hare International Airport: Vistara provides Project Control services on the Capital Improvement program at O’Hare International Airport. In addition, we have provided scheduling and cost consulting services for time sensitive projects at O’Hare (new North Air Traffic Control Tower and Administrative building).
Planning: Vistara provides cost consulting services for many civic projects that require Tax Increment Financing (TIF) including the redevelopment of the Montgomery Ward Catalog building, Block 37, Goldblatts in Chicago.
Higher Education: Cost consultant for numerous projects at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago.
Library Facilities: Cost consultant and Value Engineering services for library facilities in Chicago, Lisle, Concordia and Chicago State University.
