Exterior Façade Repairs
Construction Management Services

Vistara was the Construction Manager for this project, using a 2 Step Design Build process. This included a Step 1 investigation of the façade using a designated area for analysis and a Step 2 design-build contract with a Guaranteed Maximum Price. The major scope included the removal, replacement and construction of limestone and granite panels, along with the parapet (historic elements). Further, Blast Resistant film was applied to all windows.
The building houses important federal agencies which continued daily operations during the renovation. Vistara coordinated the construction schedule to minimize the work disruption by conducting demolition activities during the early morning hours, minimizing the construction noise and dust and phasing and limiting the work to select areas of the façade.
