Vistara provided Cost Estimates comparable to bid numbers and assisted the PBC and DOE to obtain a Green Building Ratings as determined by LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
As the Owner's Representatives (OR) Vistara acted on behalf of the PBC as extensions of the PBC staff to perform project management services, including but not limited to, coordinating with architects, engineers, and general contractors; reviewing schedules to monitor the construction progress; maintaining and controlling project budget through reviewing GC pay requests and change order requests, along with conducting weekly progress meetings to review and discuss outstanding issues, value engineering options; and has also provided cost estimates at various stages of the construction documents.
This station is a 2-story, 44,000 square foot facility for the Chicago Police Department (CPD) in the 22nd District. It also includes three (3) surface parking lots.
